Badminton is a picturesque, historic village located approximately 15 miles to the north of Bath, close to Junction 18 of M4 Motorway. The village is famous for its horse trials, which take place in early May each year in the grounds of Badminton House, the principal seat of the Dukes of Beaufort since the late 17th century. The village has a small high street with a convenience store and post office, and allows for convenient access to Cirencester, Bath & Bristol.
